CLEARWATER, FL (AP) — Hulk Hogan’s 17-year-old son is in a Florida jail.

Nick Bollea was sentenced to eight months behind bars after he pleaded no contest to causing a crash that critically injured his friend.

He will also serve five years of probation and not be able to drive for three years

The injured friend’s family has filed a civil suit against Bollea’s parents, saying they’re liable for their son’s actions.

The friend’s mother says “speeding to Nick was a badge of honor.”

Bollea’s mom says her family is dealing with a void that can’t be filled.
